Job purpose:
Marshall Advanced Composites design and manufacture composite components and structures for a variety of applications in the air, at sea and on land.  We are looking for an Electrician to join our team at our Kirkbymoorside site in North Yorkshire to support the Company in delivering high quality composite products to our customers.  The primary purpose of the role is to provide electrical maintenance support to the site including testing, modification and or repair of buildings, services, plant and other real estate owned or operated by the company.  As part of a small facilities team there may be occasions when you will be required to assist other aspects of the facilities team’s responsibilities where appropriate.

•To undertake electrical preventative maintenance work as scheduled including the identification of new plans on commissioning of plant and or equipment.
•Support other elements of the facilities team, when required and where possible. 
•Inspect, test, maintain, modify and repair electrical aspects of the facility. 
•Provision of first response assistance for facility, building services related emergencies.
•Monitoring the performance of contractor support when requested.
•Assisting with the provision of the electrical elements of building project work.
•Contact for out of hours issues, where necessary.
•To work in line with all health and safety legislation.

Candidates should have:-
•Good standard of education, GCSE or equivalent in mathematics and English.
•Recognised electrical, HVAC, Building Services Engineering training at NVQ level 2 or above (or demonstrable experience of working at this level).
•City & Guilds IET Wiring regulations qualification (to latest edition).
•Positive and flexible attitude to work.
•Excellent team working and communication skills. 
It would be desirable if candidates have:-
•Portable Appliance Testing qualification. 
•Recognised H&S qualification.
•Recognised formal cross discipline trade training (i.e. mechanical knowledge).
