Job purpose:
Marshall Advanced Composites design and manufacture composite components and structures for a variety of applications in the air, at sea and on land.  We are looking for a Logistics Support Operator to join our team at our Kirkbymoorside site in North Yorkshire to support the Company in delivering high quality composite products to our customers.

As a key part of our Stores team you will perform warehouse/logistic duties, shipping, receiving and stocking of material and assets in support of relevant contracts and production lines to provide an efficient service to the customer and other supply partners. 

Main duties will include:
•Receipt of all goods, unpacking carrying out physical checks on arrival, checking paperwork, entering the information onto the ERP System, working within the correct BMS procedure and quality accreditations
•Despatch – Pick, Pack and Despatch Finished Goods in line with Production and Customer expectations, raising the appropriate paperwork
•Inventory Control – Maintaining accurate records and accounts manually and on the ERP system.  
•This would include PI Control (Perpetual Inventory Stock Counting), Internal Stores Requisitions,
•Picking and issue of material from works orders received, in a timely manner, reporting any material shortages to appropriate personnel as directed.  
•Ensuring accuracy of records on the ERP System. 
•General administration duties including but not limited to filing of all certificate of conformity, despatch paperwork and general housekeeping duties.

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic and will willing to learn and possess:
•Good standard of mathematics, literacy and IT skills, including word, excel and outlook
•Good coordination and a keen eye for detail 
•Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions 
•Strong team work and communications skills
•Experience of working in a similar role or environment
Candidates will ideally possess, although appropriate training will be given:
•Fork lift truck licence
