ABOUT THE ROLE Job purpose: We are looking to strengthen our talented HR team with the addition of further Operational HR Business Partners. These are highly visible, outward-facing roles which play a key role in the development and delivery of the Marshall ADG business strategy and so offer an exciting opportunity of contributing to the continued success of the company. These roles will be aligned directly to distinct areas/functions of the business and will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and collaborative HR service to internal stakeholders contributing fully to the leadership, growth and profitability of the Business Unit/function. They will identify the strategic business activities that require HR support and will develop a supporting HR strategy to deliver successfully against long and short term business objectives Key Tasks: • Act as the key account manager and key interface for the Business Unit with other areas of the HR function, drawing on specialist HR support and resources in order to deliver the HR strategy. •Accountable for the interpretation of the Business Unit/function business strategy and the implementation of HR activity that contributes to future profitability •Actively contribute to the overall performance of the business by supporting the HR strategy and role modelling the company values and behaviours. •Ensure that HR issues are considered at the earliest opportunity within the business decision-making process. •Coach, challenge and advise the operational leadership team and the wider HR team to ensure that business objectives are delivered. •Develop the capability of the HR function and improve line management across the organisation •Work as part of an integrated and collaborative HR team which is focussed on driving business success. ABOUT YOU HR Business Partnering experience within a complex engineering or manufacturing environment would be useful but we’re not prescriptive. Of more importance to us is a positive, enthusiastic approach and a passion to deliver a comprehensive HR Business Partnering service which adds real value to the wider business and which will help us achieve our strategic aims. You will be CIPD qualified (or actively studying towards this) and will be comfortable liaising with and influencing colleagues at every level.
