Continuous Improvement Assessor (Fixed Term)

Within our land systems capability, we have designed, manufactured, delivered and supported more than 5000 tactical shelters in over 200 different configurations.

Due to significant growth around the implementation of Continuous Improvement within the business, we are looking for an Assessor to deliver the Level 2 Business Improvement Techniques (BIT) qualification as part of an apprenticeship, to existing staff members across the Marshall ADG Cambridge site.  

Whilst this role is currently an 18 month fixed term role, it may develop into a permanent position. 

Marshall ADG are on the RoATP and an accredited centre with City & Guilds; the successful candidate will maintain a full caseload of learners, in line with the Quality requirements of the SFA and Ofsted. The role will require both the delivery of training and the assessment of competence against awarding body standards. 

Qualification requirements:
•	Assessor qualification (D32/33, A1 or TAQA)
•	Minimum L2 Business Improvement Techniques, with strong occupational competence in this area
•	PTLLS or equivalent teaching qualification (preferred)

Key responsibilities:
•	Subject assessment responsibilities will include L2 NVQ Diploma in Business Improvement Techniques and L2 Certificate in Improving Business Performance.
•	The role will also require the use of online portfolio, so a strong capability with IT would be an advantage. 
•	The provision of support to learners gaining their Functional Skills qualifications (if required), in a classroom or one to one basis.
•	Some administrative duties will be required in regards to enrolling and supporting a cohort of learners; ensuring non-judgmental, motivational and effective support is provided throughout their learning journey. 
•	Where appropriate the preparation of course handbooks, slides and general course material along with the management of the classrooms and learning resources.
