Job purpose:
We are looking for a Composite Laminator to join our Advanced Composites Team at our Kirkbymoorside Site in Yorkshire. You will responsible for the manufacture of Aerospace Components to a high standard using the appropriate laminating techniques and any other associated manufacturing methods. 
This role is an ideal stepping stone to the role of Cell Coordinator and Team Leader and we are committed to supporting you to build a rewarding and long lasting career as part of the Marshall family. 

Main duties will include:
•	Cloth Cutting, tool preparation, cloth Laminating and bagging / consolidation
•	Being responsive to changing priorities and working hard to meet customer demand.
•	Being flexible in approach and doing whatever is necessary to get the job done safely and in accordance with relevant procedures. 
•	Supporting other team members and help to build a positive working environment including communicating effectively to ensure relevant people are aware of information and issues at the earliest opportunity. 
•	Embracing opportunities to develop new skills and knowledge.
•	Producing a quality product meeting the needs of the customer in the most effective way, in accordance with the information provided. 
•	Actively engaging in activities to improve the quality of products and processes. 
•	Being proactive in highlighting potential risks and near misses to promote a safe working environment for everyone. 

Ideally you will be/have:
•	Good standard of mathematics, literacy and IT skills
•	'O' Level standard or GCSE Grades A to C or Scottish Standards Grades, secretarial training and qualifications, or training to City and Guilds, basic level (NVQ-2)
•	Experience in a production environment with transferable skills
•	Technical understanding of cloth orientations and material properties to laminate product.
•	Understanding of tool control in work area and the sealing / releasing process required to prepare a tool for manufacture.
•	Understanding of the autoclave/oven cure process
•	Good attention to detail
•	Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and interpret technical drawings and ply books
•	Strong team work and communications skills
•	A willingness to train and develop skills
